Telynau Teifi's Eos Celtic Harp Made in Wales - Welsh FlagEos Celtic Harp

The 36-string Eos Celtic Harp has been designed to offer responsiveness, exceptional volume and clarity of sound, as well as structural stability. With the same string spacing and tension as a concert harp, Eos is ideal for harpists who want the sound quality of a pedal harp with all the convenience of a lever harp but at a fraction of the cost of a starter pedal harp. Years of research and development have perfected Telynau Teifi's revolutionary semi-tone mechanism. Traditional blades and levers can often deaden the string and lead to a loss of sound, but our device gives perfect pitch while retaining the string's resonance. It is just one example of the fresh approach we're bringing to harp making.

Eos is the Welsh word for Nightingale, and this harp thoroughly deserves its name as it 'sings' magnificently

Semi-tone levers: These innovative new levers are based on many years of research. Made from solid brass and hardened steel, they give clear, defined semi-tone notes. Based on the current concert harp principle of double forks, they do not wear the harp strings. They are colour coded, positive and comfortable to use, easily adjustable for pitch and differing string gauges. It's just one example of the fresh approach we are bringing to harp making.

Tuning Pins: The tuning pins are made from solid stainless steel and do not corrode in the neck. They have a coloured band around them denoting red for 'C' and black for 'F' as an aid to tuning.

The strings: The very best gut strings are used for quality and resonance of sound. The tensions and spacings are similar to those of a concert harp. Strings and accessories are available from us directly.
